DRIVERS are being advised that road closures will be taking place at junction 4 of the M5 next week while National Highways demolishes a building at its nearby depot.
The existing salt barn at the Lydiate Ash depot is being demolished to make way for a new barn.
Work is underway and is currently taking place in the daytime and not impacting nearby roads.
However, for safety reasons, during one aspect of the demolition, there will be overnight closures of the nearby slip road on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4.
The A491 eastbound and the M5 junction 4 northbound entry slip road will be fully closed and there will be lane closures on the Lydiate Ash Interchange.
These will take place between 8pm and 6am.
Clearly signed diversion routes, agreed with the local authority, will be in place.
