A CAR was left on its roof after a two-car crash on the M5 this afternoon (Tuesday).
Parademics looked after four patients who were all discharged at the scene.
However, drivers were being warned of up to seven miles of congestion and 50-minute delays between J5 (Droitwich) and J4A, northbound throughout the afternoon.
Initially, two out of four lanes were closed after the crash but all lanes were re-opened just before 1pm.
Ambulance, police, and fire services all attended the scene and the crash took place at around 11.50am.
No arrests were made by police after the crash.
A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said it was a two-car crash.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Services said: "One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered four patients, all of whom were assessed and able to be discharged at the scene."
Fire and rescue services also attended the scene.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Services said:
"Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called out at noon today to a road traffic collision on the M5.
"Crews from Droitwich and Bromsgrove Fire Stations attended the northbound carriageway near junction 5.
"Two vehicles were involved in the collision with one left on its roof and returned to all four wheels by the highways agency.
"No people were trapped and fire crews worked to make the vehicles safe."
A spokesperson from National Highways said: "The incident was on the northbound carriageway and involved two cars, one of which overturned."
