A WOMAN has been treated by paramedics for shock after a crash in Wythall.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Silver Street and Middle Lane at around 10.30am this morning (June 1) to a two-vehicle crash.
A 27-year-old woman who was driving the car was treated for shock by paramedics.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called at about 10.30am to a two vehicle accident at the junction of Silver Street with Middle Lane in Wythall.
“The ambulance service also attended and the 27-year-old female driver of one of the cars is being treated at the scene for shock.
“Both cars are extensively damaged, and the road is currently closed while vehicles involved are recovered.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a van at the junction of Silver Street and Middle Lane in Wythall, Birmingham at just before 10.30am this morning.
“A paramedic on a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.
“On arrival, the ambulance staff found a woman still in the car.
“She was assessed and treated at the scene before being discharged.
“A man in the car and a man driving the van were uninjured.”
