A NEW care home has officially opened in Rubery, promising the ‘very best dementia and nursing care’ to people over 65.
An opening ceremony marked the launch of The Oaks Care Home, which was attended by Gary Sambrook MP, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Birmingham Helen Higson OBE, members of Excel Dance Academy and people from the community.
The Oaks which is run by Bracebridge Care Group has 70 bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms designed to support independence and comfort for residences.
The home on Rubery Lane also includes a hairdressing salon, a music room, a ground floor café area, gardens, and an activities kitchen.
Samantha Crawley, chief executive officer at Bracebridge Care Group, said: “We are so excited to have held our VIP opening event at The Oaks.
“The care home has been designed sympathetically with the local community in mind, as well as the very best innovation in technology, and it was humbling to have been able to showcase this to people in attendance.
“We are thrilled that so many people visited and fed back so enthusiastically about the design and comfort of the home.
“We are committed to creating spaces where compassion, inclusion and innovation are at the heart of everything we do, enabling people to live and work in our homes as their true, authentic selves.”
