GLOWING reviews by residents and families have given a Bromsgrove care home the perfect score on the UK’s main care review website.

Cofton Park Manor Care Home, Lickey Road, has scored the perfect 10 on carehome.co.uk.

Home manager Kerry Hill said: “We are over the moon that our care given to those at Cofton Park Manor is worthy of a 10 out of 10 rating.

“The team thrive off positive feedback and this really motivates us to keep doing what we are doing.”

The website gives people a chance to share their experiences of a care home with others and can be used as a tool when understanding the quality of a home.

One family member quoted on the website said: “I can’t praise enough; we have been welcomed with open arms. It’s such a relief knowing my mum is being well cared for.”

The Lickey Road home opened for business in January, creating 45 jobs and offering residential, dementia and nursing care.

Recently it had an official open day when members of the Pride of Longbridge arrived with their amazing motor cars.

On the day, which attracted hundreds of people, the home was officially opened by community campaigner Gemma Cartwright, MBE.

Kerry added: “We have a beautiful, a homely environment, but the shining stars are the staff team. Every single person who works for Cofton Park Manor is experienced in working in the care home setting.

“As well as the skills and knowledge, everyone has a real passion to be working in this sector and a love for the role.

“The team want to put a smile on people’s faces, we want to make things better, we want to be there to help – nothing is too much trouble.”
