Burcot Grange and Lodge, a luxury all-inclusive care home in Bromsgrove, hosted a summer garden party.
Over 200 guests joined the event, which marked the home's first garden party since 2019 on on Saturday, July 22.
The celebrations raised more than £930 for Alzheimer's Society.
Despite the heavy downpour of rain over the weekend, the home successfully held an afternoon full of festivities.
A raffle with various prizes, including wine hampers, chocolates, and M&S vouchers, was organized.
Local businesses were also invited, such as the home's salon, which provided vouchers for the raffle.
Meanwhile, the children were treated to a nature hunt in the home's garden and each received a butterfly shortbread to take home.
Adding to the lively ambiance of the garden party, Sauce City Jazz, a traditional "Dixieland" jazz band, performed for the crowd.
The in-house catering team prepared sandwiches and cakes, which were served alongside tea, coffee, and Pimm's.
The funds raised from the garden party will go towards supporting individuals living with dementia and those affected by the disease.
Vicky Osborne, Manager at Burcot Grange and Lodge, said: “We are thrilled to have our annual garden party up and running again, as we took a brief break over the pandemic. It was great to see our residents and guests come together for an afternoon of celebrations, and for a great cause.
“The music along with the entertainments arranged by our team made for the perfect afternoon that not even a summer shower could hinder on!
“We are very proud to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. Dementia is one of the biggest health and social challenges of our time, so it is vital we do all we can to help those affected by the disease."
