Police have arrested two teenagers following a robbery in Sutton Coldfield where a stolen car from Rubery was also recovered.
West Mercia Police received reports of a robbery on Braemar Road shortly after 8.20pm yesterday (Tuesday, October 16).
Officers reacted and quickly identified a Ford Fiesta which had been stolen from an address in Rubery on October 4.
The car was pursued by response officers as well as those from the Birmingham East Neighbourhood Team who detained a driver on Elwyn Road and seized a quantity of Class A drugs.
Police later discovered a second teenager hiding nearby.
The teenagers, both aged 17, were taken into custody on suspicion offences including robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and dangerous driving.
They have been bailed whilst investigations are ongoing.
