Police have launched an appeal after an attempted theft and assault at a shop in Bromsgrove last month.
The incident happened on October 10 at the Spar on Broad Street at around 10pm.
West Mercia Police said two females attempted to steal items from the store and when confronted by people working in the shop one member of staff was hit in the face.
Police have now issued CCTV footage of two girls they believe could help with their enquiries and are asking people to check if they recognise them.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "If you know these two girls or have any information that would help with our enquiries, please contact PC Lisa Carpenter by email lisa.carpenter@westmercia.police.uk or by calling 07870159807.
"Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by visiting www.crimestoppers-org.uk"
