A main road is set to be closed for three months after work was abandoned last year when a worker was seriously injured.
The A448 from Bromsgrove towards Kidderminster will be closed from Monday, February 19 until the middle of May for water main replacement works.
The work started in May 2023 but had to be abandoned due to a road worker being seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Traffic Bromsgrove said: "As a result of this incident, the remaining work will now be carried out under a road closure to ensure the safety of the workforce.
"The closure will be in place 24/7 and there will be no through route to Kidderminster between Harvington Hall Lane and Dobes Lane. A signed diversion will be in place for the duration of the works."
Severn Trent will also be hosting a drop-in session for any questions at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall on 12th February between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
