A swanky new café bar promising to be a "real home from home" opened its doors for the first time in Bromsgrove last week.
Verraco Lounge, part of Loungers plc, moved into the former Superdrug store on the High Street on Monday, February 5.
With its heavily patterned wallpapers, tiling and stripped wooden floors to its upholstered lounge chairs and original artwork, the new eatery is being marketed as the "perfect place to unwind".
Community manager at Loungers, Gemma Irwin, said: "We are delighted to be opening Verraco Lounge in Bromsgrove. Our Lounges strive to put community at the heart of hospitality and our teams always go the extra mile to make a difference.
"They are actively encouraged to connect with their communities by working with local groups, charities, organisations and businesses that are at the heart of the fabric of local life.
"We are very much looking forward to welcoming local residents to Verraco Lounge."
The café bar, which is the 212th Lounge in the group, has an all-day menu including burgers, tapas and salads and is also open for hot and cold drinks.
The food available also caters for vegans and those with dietary requirements.
There are features for families including high chairs, baby-changing facilities and a selection of games, books, colouring pencils and pads on offer.
A spokesperson for Verraco Lounge added: "A real home from home, Verraco Lounge will cater for all tastes throughout the day with a varied and innovative all-day menu.
"Whether it is a coffee with friends, a long lazy brunch with family or a relaxed dinner and drinks, Verraco Lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind in good company."
Verraco Lounge is open from 9am until 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 9am until 12am Friday and Saturday.
