Drivers have been warned about a large fallen tree blocking a road in Bromsgrove this morning (Tuesday, February 13).
West Mercia Police's Operations and Communications Centre revealed on social media that residents should be careful following a tree falling down on Pikes Pool Lane in Finstall.
Drivers should try and find an alternative route where possible as the route is not passable at this time.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Large tree has fallen, completely blocking the road, Pikes Pool Lane, Bromsgrove, just after the turning for the railway bridge which is a steep bend. Please use an alternative route. This will take some time to clear."
In an update shortly before 9am, the police said the highways team were working on clearing the road and the route should be reopened within the next half an hour.
