A series of monthly workshops aimed at getting young people from the region to consider their career path began in December.
Bromsgrove-based The Basement Project, a drop-in centre for young people, have already seen a positive response.
Each workshop presents a 'day in the life of' format with guest speakers from the area sharing their daily work experiences, their industry's challenges and pointers on how to enter their field.

The first guest speaker was Oli Pugh, from UK Electrical Installations in Aston Fields, whose insights into the life of a tradesman inspired one attendee, who is now gaining experience as a painter and decorator.
Anna Duffy, who runs the Application Station careers service at The Basement Project said: "These sessions are helping young people realize that with hard work and access to the right support, anything is possible.
"It doesn’t matter what your background is, or what stage you are at.
"It’s all about seeing a pathway forward and understanding how to make it happen."
Each workshop lasts for two hours and includes a meal following a Q&A.
The arrangement encourages youngsters, especially those who are not confident enough to ask questions in a public forum, to engage with the speaker in an informal environment.
The next workshop is 'A Day in the Life of a Surveyor', when Louise Sutton, from BTS Property Consultancy in Hagley, will explain her profession.
BTS, founded in 2015, is a leading property consultancy that specialises in planning, development, technical concerns, utilities and valuation.
The session will take place on Wednesday, February 28, and is free to attend.
However, due to limited availability, pre-registration is required.
The event is open to anyone aged between 16 and 25.
Those interested in attending can register by emailing applicationstation@basementproject.org.uk or by calling 01527 832993.
