A VILLAGE has gone viral on social media after a prankster made a hilarious alteration to a sign.
Frankley, a village in the Bromsgrove district, is getting attention after someone "enhanced" its main sign by adding an iconic line from the Hollywood classic Gone With the Wind.
The road sign now reads "Frankley, my dear, I don't give a damn," a phrase was famously spoken by actor Clark Gable in the 1939 American epic.
Dr Helen Ingram posted a photo of the sign on X, formerly Twitter, and said: "There’s a little village outside Birmingham called Frankley and this morning someone ‘enhanced’ the place name sign".
