A popular takeaway in Bromsgrove has made the "difficult decision" to move out of the town until the end of the year.
The Mexi Co, which is located on Old Birmingham Road, announced on its Facebook page that the business will be moving its main operation from Bromsgrove to Worcester.
The business is set to move to Worcester High Street and will be within eyeshot of the cathedral.
In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for The Mexi Co said: "It’s farewell, but not goodbye. We’ve taken the difficult decision to move our main operation to Worcester. This will be our last 2 weeks in Bromsgrove until later in the year when we’ll be reopening on Friday and Saturday from a new location.
"We’ve got a lovely spot on Worcester High Street within eyeshot of the famous cathedral. The unit is undergoing a major transformation as we speak and we are looking to open there in May."
The team have not yet revealed its new location in Bromsgrove but they have thanked customers for their support over the past seven years especially during Covid.
The business, which serves a variety of tex-mex food, has also urged customers to stop by and grab some food from the takeaway before they move.
The Mexi Co added: "We’d just like to thank you all for your continued support over the last 7 years, which has been ever so slightly challenging in our industry.
"We’ll be posting some transformation videos of the new shop in due course but, until then, make sure you get your last Mexi Co fix in the next two weeks."
