A singing group has raised more than £2,500 for a Bromsgrove hospice.
The Singalongs have been performing at various locations around Worcestershire, including care homes, churches, WI meetings and meetings of various clubs and associations in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich, and Evesham.
The group of friends have received a certificate of appreciation from the Bromsgrove-based Primrose Hospice for their efforts, which were collected over the past year.
The total amount raised was £2,548.
Though a small group of friends, The Singalongs host several concerts and performances annually, each with a unique programme.
Their diverse musical sets include a variety of genres, creating an inclusive environment by urging their audiences to participate.
All the funds raised are directly donated to the hospice, and no profit is taken by the singers themselves.
Groups or individuals interested in hosting The Singalongs for a performance can contact Helen Eyre for more information, by emailing helen.eyre2@btinternet.com or by calling 01527 877198.
These funds will support the valuable work of the Primrose Hospice, a crucial pillar of support for the community.
