Temporary traffic lights are set to be put up on a busy road in Bromsgrove tomorrow due to a water leak. 

Worcestershire County Council said Severn Trent had detected a water leak on the A38 Birmingham Road. 

The leak is just outside the Esso Garage and south of Barnsley Hall Drive. 

The work will be carried out tomorrow (Thursday, May 23) under temporary traffic lights that will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm. 

The County Council said it hopes the work can be completed in one day. 

A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "A water leak has been detected by Severn Trent on the A38 Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove outside the Esso Garage just south of Barnsley Hall Drive. 

"This will be repaired tomorrow under temporary traffic lights (manual control from 7am to 7pm). It is hoped that the job can be completed in one day."
