Motorists in Bromsgrove will have nine road closures to avoid on the National Highways network this week. 

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A38, from 8pm May 22 to 6am May 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 4 northbound, exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.

• A38, from 8pm February 12 2024 to 6am April 12 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 4 to junction 5, carriageway and lane closures with speed restriction due to improvement works, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

A further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M42, from 9pm May 29 to 6am May 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 both directions, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M42, from 9pm May 30 to 6am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 both directions, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• A435, from 9.30am June 3 to 4pm June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 southbound, junction 3 exit slip road, slip road lane closures for off network maintenance works on, junction 3 roundabout on behalf of Worcestershire CC.

• M42, from 9pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 southbound, junction 3 to junction 2, Hard shoulder closure for maintenance works.

• M42, from 9pm June 5 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 northbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Hard shoulder closure for maintenance works.

• M42, from 9pm June 7 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M42 northbound, junction 1 to junction 3, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M5, from 8pm June 10 to 6am June 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 5 to junction 4A, Lane closure for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
