Waseley Hills Cemetery & Crematorium is inviting the public to honour their loved ones this Father’s Day.
From 10am to 12noon on June 15, individuals can have moments of peaceful reflection and remembrance in the crematorium’s chapel in Rubery.
People are also welcomed to write a personal tribute message for their loved ones to be posted on a memory board.
The Waseley Hills Cemetery & Crematorium serves as part of the Westerleigh Group, one of the largest independent owners and operators of crematoria and cemeteries in the UK.
Its 40 sites across England, Scotland, and Wales are all nestled within beautiful gardens of remembrance.
Manager Claire Montague said: "Occasions such as Father’s Day can be particularly poignant for anyone who’s been bereaved of a paternal loved one.
"Our site provides the fitting and welcoming environment for anyone who is looking for a quiet place of reflection and contemplation.
"During their visit, guests can also leave a Father’s Day card in our Letters To Heaven memorial post box, which was installed several months ago to give people a feeling of connection with someone they can no longer be with."
The Father’s Day invitation is open to anyone seeking a place of comfort, regardless of when the person died or where their loved one's funeral was held.
