Take a trip back to the 60's with a very special evening that will take you back to The Ritz Ballroom.
The 3 Sixties will be 'Puttin' On The Ritz' as they commemorate the golden era of the ballroom in the 1960s.
The venue will recreate the bustling atmosphere of the swinging 1960's.
In its heyday, the ballroom was the venue The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Kinks Birmingham debuts', courtesy of owners Ma and Pa Regan.
Ma's circuit, including three other venues, also welcomed stellar acts such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Bill Haley among others.
The event takes place nearly half a mile from the ballroom, which burned down in March 2013.
King's Heath Walk of Fame's Bob Prew and Ken Whittaker, who are joint organisers of the event, said: "It is quite amazing to think that The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks as well as other groups that went on to become world famous made their Birmingham debut at a tiny venue on a Kings Heath side street.
"We have booked a tremendous local band to commemorate the halcyon days of the Ritz Ballroom in the 1960's."
King's Heath Cricket & Social Club will play host to the event on Saturday (June 22), with doors set to open at 7pm.
