New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bromsgrove’s eateries, the Food Standards Agency's website shows - and it's good news for both of them.
The Priory Café, located on the Metal And Ores Industrial Estate at 138 Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 20.
Yum Yum Sushi Bar, located at 10 Worcester Road, Bromsgrove, was also given a score of five on June 13.
It means that of Bromsgrove's 119 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 81 or 68 per cent have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
The ratings have been published on the Food Standards Agency’s website which rates businesses from zero to five so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
