Police have launched an appeal after a front door was "kicked off its hinges" by a group of teenagers in Rubery. 

West Mercia Police said they were investigating criminal damage to a property in St Chad's Road after a front door was damaged by a group of young people believed to be aged between 15 and 18. 

The group made off on bikes following the incident which happened at around 10.20pm on Tuesday, June 25. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are investigating criminal damage in St Chad's Road, Rubery.

"A front door was kicked off its hinges by a group of ‘lads’ said to be between 15 and 18 years of age. We  are appealing to local residents for information.
