POLICE in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, are keen to speak to a teenage girl after concerns that she was followed by a car on Friday evening.

West Mercia Police has issued an appeal to the girl to come forward after reports that a vehicle appeared to follow her in Shrubbery Road on Friday June 28.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 7.30pm a member of the public contacted police with concerns after a vehicle appeared to follow a girl before stopping alongside her before she ran off along Highfields Road.”

The force said police officers are keen to speak to the girl to check that she is ok and to ensure those in the vehicle had not caused her distress or attempted to commit any kind of criminal offence.
