An annual NHS survey has revealed the best GP surgeries in the Bromsgrove district according to patients.
The GP Patient Survey, which was published by NHS England with Ipsos this month, shows what patients think of their local services.
The latest survey consisted of around 2.56 million questionnaires which were sent out to patients aged 16 or over registered with GP practices in England between January and March this year.
A total of 699,790 patients completed and returned a questionnaire, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3 per cent.
Patients were asked to respond to a number of questions including how easy it is to get through to the GP practice by phone, and whether the reception and administrative team at the practice are helpful.
The results also show the percentage of people who described the overall experience of GP practices as good.
In the Bromsgrove district, The Glebeland Surgery in Belbroughton ranks the highest for overall positive experience. Of the 108 surveys sent back, 95.6 per cent described the overall experience as good.
It also ranked highest for ease of phone contact with 96.1 per cent and for having helpful receptionists which scored 97.9 per cent.
Cornhill Surgery came close behind with an overall positive experience score of 93.3 per cent. Catshill Village Surgery scored 91.5 per cent.
At other GP surgeries in the area, Barnt Green Surgery in Alvechurch scored 83.9 per cent, St John's Surgery scored 83.3 per cent, New Road Surgery in Rubery scored 79.5 per cent, New Road Surgery in Bromsgrove scored 78.5 per cent, Churchfields Surgery was rated at 78 per cent and Davenal House Surgery Partnership was given a 74.4 per cent rating.
Nationally, 73.9 per cent of patients who took part in the survey had a good overall experience of their GP practice.
