TEMPERATURES in Worcestershire could hit 30 degrees this week as parts of the country are expected to face a mini heatwave.
Weeks of rain and mixed weather could be behind us as temperatures are expected to soar.
According to the Met Office, temperatures are expected to rise to 30 degrees in some areas across the county on Friday (July 19), including Kidderminster.
Bromsgrove is expected to see temperatures rise to 29 degrees, and Redditch 28 degrees.
Today (Thursday, July 18), the temperature is around 26/ 27 degrees in parts of Worcestershire.
The Met Office website states: "Any early cloud breaking to provide a pleasant and dry day with an increasing number of prolonged sunny intervals.
"Feeling warm with light winds and high UV levels. Maximum temperature 25 °C".
