The popular music festival, Orchardfest, returns to Bromsgrove in August at Puddle Wharf Farm.

The family-friendly festival, scheduled for August 9 and 10, 2024, promises a mix of music, food, fun, and fundraising, all in support of the Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre.

Orchardfest first came to life in 2016, brought to fruition by local hospice supporter, Dave Morgan.

Mr Morgan started the festival in memory of his wife Trish, aiming to raise vital funds for the centre in her memory.

Now in its 8th year, the festival aims to raise more funds than ever, aiming to smash through the £30,000 mark.

Lucy Perkins, a fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, expressed her excitement saying: "We hope the sun will be shining again for us this year at Orchardfest and look forward to seeing so many of our loyal supporters at the event.

"You helped us raise over £28,000 in 2023; this year we want to try to break the record and hit over £30,000."

"We have been busy putting together a fantastic line-up with something to suit everyone."

She also said: "Join us to enjoy a great family day out with over 11 hours of live music, fun, laughter and dancing.

"There will be great food on offer, the Primrose Bar will be serving up your favourite tipples and as always you are more than welcome to bring your own too."

Underscoring the rush for tickets, she added: "Tickets are selling fast so if you have not yet booked be sure not to miss out."

Tickets can be purchased from the hospice's website https://primrosehospice.org/events/orchardfest/ or phone 01527 889799.

The funds raised from the event will support the crucial work of Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre.

They provide care and support for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families, lending a helping hand during challenging times.
