POLICE have launched an appeal after a minibus was stolen from a primary school.

Officers said that a Ford Transit minibus was stolen without keys from Coppice Primary School in Hollywood.

The theft happened sometime over the weekend of Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11.

On West Mercia Police's Neighbourhood Matters website, police volunteer Philip Payne said: "We are appealing for information following the theft of the School Ford Transit Minibus, without keys, from Coppice Primary School, Hollywood, partial registration AF13xxx.

"The minibus is white with green lettering, ‘Coppice Primary School’

"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

"We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around any vehicle.
