Award-winning performers, food vendors and more are set to entertain Rubery this weekend. 

The Rubery Annual Festival at St Chad's Park is set to return to the village on Sunday (September 1). 

There will be a parade starting at the Rubery Memorial Club followed by live entertainment from award-winning singers, dancers and other acts. 

Organisers have also promised entertainment for the children including rides, bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting and more.

There will also be charity table top sales, a tombola, food vendors, live wrestling and a vintage and classic car display, so there is something for the whole family to enjoy. 

Organisers have urged the community not to miss out on what promises to be a fun-filled day packed with entertainment. 

The event, which has been organised by the Rubery Festival Committee, is free to enter and can be found on New Road from 12pm until 5pm.
