A Bromsgrove hospice is inviting the public to its open day.

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre will host a day about the support offered to families facing bereavement and people living with life-limiting illnesses such as palliative heart failure, lung conditions, cancer, and neurological conditions.

The event is open to all, whether you work in healthcare or are interested in learning more about the clinical and family support services.

A short presentation is set for 11am, but the clinical and family support teams will be available throughout the day to answer any questions.

There will also be tours of the hospice and refreshments.

David Burrell, chief executive officer, said: "The open day is a wonderful informal opportunity for anyone to look round, meet the staff and volunteers and understand the extent of support we provide to patients and families at Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

"Everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome as we love to show people the work we do to support this community.

"So, if you want to know more about our services for yourself or someone you know or if you are just curious about what we do, we would love to see you."

The hospice offers care and advice to patients living with a life-limiting illness.

They also support families who have experienced bereavement or who have a family member living with a life-limiting illnesses in the north east Worcestershire area.
