BROMSGROVE is set to ignite taste buds and celebrate its bustling food and drink scene during an upcoming food festival.
The event, called 'A Taste of Bromsgrove,' has been created to further showcase the best independent hospitality businesses in and around Bromsgrove.
It follows the success of local campaigns which included A Taste of Bromsgrove in May this year and Taste Worcester in October 2023.
Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, councillor Karen May said: “This is great news for Bromsgrove. We know we have a great Town Centre, and this celebration will showcase what we have on offer."
The one-day festival, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, will showcase the very best of the town’s restaurants, bars and traders.
Both residents and visitors alike will be able to enjoy food including kebabs and pizzas, tapas and waffles.
People can also order a drink from local bars and listen to live music.
Hosted by Visit Worcestershire and Bromsgrove District Council, the event will run from 1pm until 7pm on Bromsgrove High Street.
Cabinet member for leisure, councillor Bernard McEldowney said: “Bromsgrove boasts an eclectic mix of independent traders all of whom need our support.
"This event will showcase what our District has to offer and will encourage residents and visitors alike to sample a taste of Bromsgrove.“
