A car park in Bromsgrove is set to close for two weeks later this month.
The All Saints Church Hall car park will be temporarily closed for essential improvement work and resurfacing.
The car park, which is accessed via Shenstone Close, will be closed from Monday, October 28.
The car park is in a poor state of repair and the surface is far passed the end of its design life.
The old surface will be broken off and removed before kerbs are put in.
A new surface will then be laid before lines will be painted on.
The work, which is being completed by the council’s contractors Kelbec, will be noisy and dusty.
The planing of the old tarmac could result in small bits of the debris being thrown around.
Bromsgrove District Council are asking residents to remove their cars from the area before the work starts on October 28.
Councillor Sue Baxter, cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this causes nearby residents, the works are part of an ongoing programme of improvement for parking facilities in the town."
This work forms part of a bigger ongoing improvement project around the District.
