Police have urged drivers to stay alert after a number of runaway sheep were spotted on a road in Bromsgrove.
Bromsgrove Police managed to safely move the sheep off the road and back into their field but they have issued an important reminder for residents to be cautious on fast roads.
This is due to "unexpected obstacles" that could be encountered by drivers with officers thanking those that slowed down for the sheep.
In a post on social media, Bromsgrove Police said: "Bromsgrove Police have been on baaa-dyguard duty, safely moving some runaway sheep off the road and back into their field.
"It’s a funny sight, but also a serious reminder to stay alert on fast roads. You never know when you’ll encounter an unexpected obstacle.
"Thanks to everyone who sheepishly slowed down to keep things safe. Stay aware and keep an eye out for more than just traffic."
