PHOTOS have been shared of a van submerged in flood water at Shell Ford in Worcestershire.

The brook, near Earl's Common, has signs warning that the road is "liable to flooding."

The county was hit with heavy rain on Wednesday night (October 16), with flood warnings remaining in place today.

Former Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Dave Throup shared an image of the flooded ford on X, formerly Twitter.

In a warning, he said: "Don’t drive through flood water".

Further rainfall is forecast over the weekend.

Several roads have been closed due to flooding today (October 17). People can find the latest information on flooding in Worcestershire on the Environment Agency website.
