HUNDREDS of families turned out for the first-ever Haunted Halloween Light Trail at a Bromsgrove park.

Bromsgrove District Council organised the free event at Sanders Park on Saturday (October 26).

Families and residents - many in fancy dress - turned out in force to enjoy a trip past Bone-die Beach and Pumpkin Patch.

Actors were also on hand to bring the event to life.

Residents who attended Bromsgrove District Council’s Haunted Halloween Light Trail are invited to feedback on their experience.

Cabinet member for leisure, councillor Bernard McEldowney said: "Lots of people turned out to this wonderful free event and we'd love to hear what they thought so we can make improvements going forward."

You can have your say on the survey via Bromsgrove District Council's website or, via the council’s social media platforms.

Residents praised the event on social media.

Emma Pinfield said: "This was a fantastic afternoon/evening. We hope you carry on this event next year".

Sarah Rees said: "We had a lovely walk round the park. Our kids are now 18 and 21 but always been Halloween-mad and wanted to go. Thanks Bromsgrove Council.

Allison Green said it was a "lovely event."

Jane Carter added: "Thank you Bromsgrove for putting this event on."
