Police have launched an investigation following two robberies and an attempted robbery in Hagley. 

West Mercia Police said they are aware of concerns about a vehicle approaching people in Hagley and the occupants making threats to steal mobile phones. 

Officers are investigating three incidents including two robberies where a mobile phone was stolen and an attempted robbery. 

They are also investigating reports that the men are intimidating people. 

A white Nissan Juke, which is believed to be stolen and the car the men were in, has been found abandoned and seized by police. 

Police have also confirmed that they are stepping up patrols in the area and have been working closely with Haybridge High School to address any concerns from parents and students. 

Police Sergeant Katie Ward, from the Hagley Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "We are investigating these incidents in partnership with our colleagues at West Midlands Police.

"We understand such situations can be alarming, but we would like to reassure people the vehicle believed to be linked to these incidents has now been found abandoned.

"We have stepped up patrols in the area and have also been working closely with Haybridge High School to allay any concerns of parents and students there.
