A COUPLE is desperately searching for their lost dog after their Land Rover was stolen.

Tina Kazmi has said that four of her Jack Russell Terrier dogs were also in the car but were later found dumped at Weatheroak Hill and Aspley Heath Lane.

But her beloved white German Shepherd Tink is still missing, with family and friends frantically searching to find her.

The car was stolen when her husband Andy Moakes, who is a farmer, was delivering hay to an address on Houndsfield Lane in Wythall on Sunday (November 17).

He was picking up some step ladders when he returned to find the Land Rover Freelander and the trailer had been taken, along with the dogs inside the car, at around 2.20pm.

Tina has now issued urgent appeals for members of the public to be on the lookout for Tink, who is two and a half years old, which have been shared widely on Facebook.

In the post, she said: "Four Jack Russells have all been found and reunited with us however our German shepherd is still missing and we fear could still be in the boot of the car.

"Vehicle Freelander AM08 KES was last seen heading towards Danzey Green with an Ifor Williams trailer still attached.

"Our dogs were dumped at Weatheroak Hill and Aspley Heath.

"Please be vigilant for us across the vast amount of Facebook sites and social media platforms so that we can locate our lovely girl".

Tina said she was searching for Tink until 1pm on Sunday.

She added: "At the moment I've got a migraine. I'm just trying to stay focused and keep looking.

"I really have no idea what to do.

"We can only drive down the same roads so many times.

"I'm getting so many people contacting me.

"We are not bothered about the car, we are not bothered about the trailer, we are just bothered about the dog".

West Mercia Police have said they received a call around 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon with a report of vehicle theft and confirmed that their enquiries are ongoing.
