Police have launched an appeal following an attempted burglary at a home in Rubery. 

West Mercia Police said the offender or offenders attempted to gain entry to the property on Rubery Lane via a kitchen door after climbing over a garage roof. 

They fled the scene after being disturbed by the house alarm. 

The incident happened at around 5.35am on Thursday (November 21). 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a home on Rubery Lane, Rubery. 

"Did you see anything suspicious or have any information that might help enquires?
