AN animal rescue group has announced it will be closing after nearly 50 years.
Wychbold Swan rescue, one of very few organisations in Worcester to directly help the city's swans, has announced it will be closing.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Wychbold Swan Rescue, said: "We are very sad to announce that after almost 50 years we are now closing.
"We would like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers and supporters past and present.
"We couldn’t have done it without you.
"We are really very sorry but please continue to look after our wonderful wildlife."
