Shoppers can benefit from free parking in Bromsgrove this weekend in a bid to encourage people to shop local.
The nationwide event, which is being supported by Bromsgrove District Council, will see shoppers access free parking as they check out the town's independent shops and eateries for Small Business Saturday.
The event takes place this Saturday (December 7) and encourages people to support independent businesses and to shop local.
Councillor Karen May, leader of Bromsgrove District Council, said: "Bromsgrove boasts an eclectic array of shops, businesses and eateries and I am delighted that we can support them by offering free parking as part of Small Business Saturday."
The council said the free parking will be available at council-owned sites including New Road, School Drive, Parkside, St John Street, Stourbridge Road and more.
