It’s that time of year again when Christmas markets pop up across the UK and there are plenty in and around Worcestershire to enjoy.
As the temperatures get cooler, wandering through Christmas markets can really get you into the festive spirit.

5 Christmas markets you can visit in and around Worcester
Cotswold Christmas Market
Location: Three Counties Showground, Malvern
The Cotswold Christmas Market is an indoor event, ideal if it’s cold and wet outside.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of stalls with local arts and crafts as well as children’s books plus homeware.
It’s free to enter and guests won’t need to book a ticket to wander round.
The Christmas market is open now on selected days until Sunday, December 22 with varying opening times.

Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre
Location: Worcester City Centre
Worcester’s Victorian Christmas Fayre is back for another year and visitors can expect to see 200 stalls with local food and drink, arts and crafts plus gifts available.
You can also enjoy the carousel and fun fair or the live music including traditional carols and school choirs.
The Christmas market has three days left – Friday, November 29, Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.

Birmingham Christmas market
Location: Victoria Square and New Street, Birmingham
Back for another year is Birmingham’s popular Christmas market which will run until Tuesday, December 24.

It’s open daily at varying times:
Monday – Thursday: 11am – 9pm
On Fridays, it’s open 11am – 9.30pm and on Saturdays, you can visit 10am – 9.30pm. On Sundays, it’s open 10am – 9pm.
You can expect to feel festive as you eat and drink and wander the stalls. Whether bratwursts are your favourite or you’re there for a cosy hot chocolate, there is plenty to choose from.
Gifts are available with the likes of decorations and baubles plus toys and jewellery at the stalls.

Evesham Christmas Market
Location: High Street and Market Square, Evesham, WR11 4HJ
You can celebrate Christmas with Evesham’s market which is due to take place on Saturday, December 21 through to Tuesday, December 24.

Droitwich Community Christmas Market
Location: Droitwich Rugby Club, Hanbury Road, Droitwich, WR9 8PR
Droitwich Rugby Club is hosting its own Christmas market this year.
You can expect plenty of stalls, including gifts and food and drink from 25 local suppliers.
The Christmas market will take place on Saturday, December 14 (12pm-8pm) and Sunday, December 15 (10am-4pm).
In a Facebook post, the rugby club said the response to the Christmas market has been “fantastic” with only three stalls left to book for sellers (as of November 11).
