A FOOD bank in Bromsgrove is closed this week whilst electrical works are carried out.
The Basement Project provides a drop in centre, floating support and a food bank for young people in and around Worcestershire who are homeless or facing homelessness.
Their food bank based at Hanover House is closed for essential maintenance this week. Support workers hope they will be open again on Monday, December 9.
In the meantime, they have listed a number of alternative food banks that people can use this week.
These include Newstarts, which can be contacted on 01527 882410, Catshill Food Bank, which can be contacted on 07542 102649, and Sidemoor Community Project at Destination Bromsgrove - which is next to the Slug and Lettuce on Bromsgrove High Street and can contacted via Facebook
The Basement Project has said those with an emergency housing issue, can contact BDHT on 01527 557557 or 0800 0304 254 (out of hours)
