A FAMOUS musical couple will be heading to Wolverhampton to host a Christmas Party for one night only this December.

Toyah Wilcox and Robbert Fripp have announced they will be hosting a festive evening of classic rock at Wulfrun Hall on December 22.

The pair, who have been married for 37 years, will be performing a number of Toyah’s iconic songs, including “It’s A Mystery” and “I Want To Be Free”, as well as many other much-loved hits.

As well as decades of musical success, Toyah and Robert have recently found fame through social media, amassing more than 120 million viewers for their weekly ‘Sunday Lunch’ YouTube series.

Their light-hearted 'Sunday Lunch' videos, which they started in lockdown, see the singers perform energetic and fun covers of chart-topping classics from their kitchen, often with elaborate DIY production and costumes.

Stepping out of the kitchen for a Sunday, Toyah and Robert will be spreading joy with a Christmas twist.

Speaking ahead of the event, Toyah says: “It is inevitable that our kitchen high jinx hits the road, because, as Sunday Lunch has proven, the whole world loves classic rock and wants to let their hair down at Christmas!

“Who better to do that with than two rock legends, who can really rock out and make you laugh at the same time!”

Their stop in Wolverhampton is only one of two festive shows they will be hosting, with another date in Sunderland.
