A BEWDLEY chip shop worker has said she "can't believe" she's become the face of a major beauty brand's new campaign.
Student nurse Destiny Harold, is known by many as the 'Chip Shop Diva' after videos shared by Merchants Fish & Chips went viral on TikTok.
The 20-year-old has said it was a "dream come true" when Rimmel London called the chippy up looking to work with her on its product - Oh My Gloss! Lip Oil.
Destiny Harold, aged 20, said: "I can’t believe it, I’m so excited to see what comes next.
"I did not expect all this to come from the videos, so grateful for all the love and support I’m receiving.
"Rimmel reached out to merchants I couldn’t believe they wanted to collab with me.
"Rimmel is a brand that I used anyway, so I’m grateful that I got such an amazing opportunity to work with such lovely people.
"I’m excited to see what 2025 has in store for me".
This week, she’s been working on photoshoots and starring in billboards for Rimmel.
The collaboration will spotlight Rimmel’s new product in a series of content created with the unique and quirky charm of the beloved chip shop account.
The content series will give followers exclusive behind-the-scenes access at Merchant’s Fish & Chips.
Antony Akathiotis, owner of Merchants Fish & Chips, said: “We’re over the moon to be partnering with Rimmel London - a true icon, just like our Mini Haddock Meal.
"As a family-run fish & chips shop that’s taken TikTok by storm, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support from our amazing community online.
Julie O’Driscoll, senior brand director at Rimmel London, said: "We couldn’t be more excited to partner with the iconic 'Chip Shop Diva' at Merchant's Fish & Chips.
"Their incredible success on TikTok has captured the hearts and appetites of so many people, including the Rimmel team. Destiny is the perfect partner to front a Rimmel campaign - she’s unapologetically herself: serving fish and chips while serving full glam makeup looks that are nothing short of fabulous.”
