BELBROUGHTON resident Ian Turnbull sent us photos of the flooding that hit the village on Saturday.
He said: “One moment it was only the garden opposite me that was flooded, and as I was taking some photos of that I saw cars backing up at frantic reverse speeds. To my horror I realised why!
“From zero to about less than 10 seconds a wall of water was chasing these cars down Drayton Road and which I can only describe as a mini tsunami.”
