JASON Pirie and Melissa Rutter were married by Rev Andrew Stand at St John’s church.

Jason, an electrician, is the eldest son of David and Anne Pirie, while Melissa, of Woodrow Close, Catshill, is the eldest daughter of Stephen and Louise Rutter.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress by Ronald Joyce and carried a bouquet of lilies and roses.

She was accompanied by her friend Hayley Arnold and Megan Pirie, a daughter, Helen Wilmer, a friend, while Charlie White, a nephew, was the page boy.

Matthew Hunt, a friend, was the best man.

The happy couple held their reception at the Stone Manor Hotel near Kidderminster and honeymooned in Cyprus.
