FAMILIES can take part in a free, fun-filled course to enable them to be healthier and happier.
The MEND Programme (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition… Do It!) will take place after school at local middle schools, starting this week.
The programme, for children seven to 13 who are above their ideal weight, and accompanied by an adult, was developed by experts in child health.
The programmes helps families improve their eating habits through making healthier choices and to follow an active lifestyle, thereby improving children’s physical activity levels, nutrition and self-esteem.
The two-hour sessions are twice a week for ten weeks and include information, discussions and practical and group activities. They take place at Catshill Middle School, Bromsgrove from September 17-December 1 and at Witton Middle School, Droitwich from September 17 to December 2 For further information call Rebecca Bourne on 01905 760020 or 07775 816420.
