THE Worcestershire Association for the Blind and the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) are holding a joint event later this month which may have an impact on the lives of local visually impaired people.
The aim of the seminar on Friday, September 26, is to inform people with significant sight loss across the county about the UK Vision Strategy.
This document aims to change and shape Eye Health and Sight Loss services across the country as well as Worcestershire and the organisers say this is a chance for people to be aware of how the strategy will support them to develop services to meet their needs.
The day will consist of presentations and discussions from leading providers of sight loss services across the county. The day is aimed to be both informative and lively.
This free event is taking place at the Fownes Hotel in Worcester. Places are limited so if you are interested, please contact Worcestershire Association for the Blind on 01905 723245 for more information and to reserve your place”
