FANTASTIC plants, an interesting and informative talk, good interaction between members and the speaker – exactly what we have come to expect from Rob Cole when he comes to speak to us.
Diane, with the patience of a saint, backs him up and keeps him supplied with samples to show us. This was a lovely summer’s evening spent looking and talking about things we love in the gardeners’ club.
The club meets at 8pm at St Saviour’s Hall, West Hagley.
on Wednesday, September 24, members have the opportunity to hear the second half of David Worthington’s talk on The Popes, Nurserymen of the Midlands. The return visit was requested by members who wanted to hear the whole story.
On October 22 there will be a talk and slide show called crazy daisies by Robin Pearce, from Worlds End nurseries in Hallow, who opens his private garden for the National Gardens Scheme.
