A MAN has had his car stolen following a robbery in Hagley.
It happened in School Lane at about 8.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 17) when the victim was at home. Two men, one armed with a hammer and one armed with a knife, walked in through the unlocked door and demanded his car keys.
They punched him and began searching for his keys, until he handed them over.
They drove off in his silver Mercedes convertible. The vehicle was found abandoned in Ward End, Birmingham, at about 10pm.
They also stole £150 cash.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was shaken but did not require medical treatment.
The first man was black, about 6ft tall, of slender build, and in his 20s, and the second man was white, also of slender build but shorter than the first man, and in his late 20s. They were both wearing dark coloured hoodies. There was a third man, described as black, who stayed outside.
Witnesses are asked to contact DC Brian Mortelmans or DS Joanne Scoltock in Bromsgrove CID on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
