POLICE are thanking members of the public who assisted after a theft in Rubery.
A woman and two men were suspected of stealing toiletries, worth £117, from Lloyds chemist, in New Road, on Monday morning. PC Jenni Price, of Rubery police, said: “Myself and my colleague PC Sam Peterson had lots of help. It was not just one member of the public, but around ten people who went out of their way to assist us and we do appreciate their support.” A Birmingham woman in her 20s was arrested nearby on suspicion of theft and released on bail pending further inquires.
Witnesses should contact PC Price on 08457 444888.
