BROMSGROVE police have arrested five people on suspicion of stealing lead from a Stoke Prior school.
Four men and a youth, arrested on suspicion of theft from Redgrove School, in Shaw Lane on September 16, have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Last week, the Advertiser/Messenger reported on the recent spate of lead thefts from five Bromsgrove schools, including Catshill First, in Gibb Lane, which partly flooded following their theft, and Millfields First, in Swift Close, which has been targeted twice.
Police are asking residents to remain vigilant and if they see suspicious activity around town schools, to contact them.
Anyone with information about any of the recent thefts should call the police on 08457 444888, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
